who is she

What do Marsha Ambrosius, Wyclef Jean, Rockwilder and Bono have in common? They have all been treated to a dose of Vocal Drugs, courtesy of singer/songwriter Suzy Q. Combining the power of Aretha, range of Minnie, soul of Etta , attitude of Chaka and presence of Patti, Suzy Q has the prescription to heal the ailing genre of R&B music. As a New Jersey native whose family was steeped in music, Quiona "Suzy Q" McCollum was born and bred to incite audiences with her vocal prowess. From her first performance at age 6, Suzy Q knew that the stage was her first love. By 16 she had used her vocals to land pageant crown and contest wins including the biggest contest of them all. With 5 consecutive wins at The World Famous Apollo Theatre, her passion for the music gained fervor. Putting her stake in the ground as the future of R&B music, Suzy Q has worked side by side with some of the elite. She has graced Wyclef Jean's new album "The Haitian Experience", been featured on U2's chart toping album "Songs of Innocence" and deemed by Marsha Ambrosius formerly of (Floetry) one of the best singers she's heard in ages. While illicit drugs destroy the mind, and prescription drugs treat the body, Suzy Q offers a dose of Vocal Drugs to lift the soul higher with each note, inflection and octave.
